In 2018, Camus experimented under tropic by shipping cognac in cask until Barbados island. 10 oak barrels which have been aged 4 years in Camus cellar continue to age through 45 days of boat and one year in the island (Rum Foursquare cellar).
Colour: Consistent amber with golden highlights.
Nose: Intense primary aromas of banana and pear. Spicy accents of cocoa bean and nutmeg, anticipating the typical rancio notes.
Palate: Explosive attack, followed by roundness and elegance. Aromatic depth, with notes of exotic fruits accompanied by soft tannins.
