Amrut’s iconic Fusion finished – providing additional depth and character. This super special bottling is a tribute to Amrut’s late Chairman, Neelakanta Rao Jagdale, and to celebrate the 11th Anniversary of the iconic Amrut Fusion. This special edition of Fusion XI is a concoction of different barrels by our Head Distiller to reveal the depth and complexity of this finest single malt whisky.

NOSE: Invigorating nose for a 50% abv with a slap on the face notes of dark fruits and coconut cream. With time this is a delicate affair and a layer of vanilla pod, toffee/dark chocolate combined with a shade of oak and this shows the impact of bourbon cask on the maturation. Where are the phenols? It is shy and hiding behind the door with the help of sweet tamarind and shade of flowery note. It is memorizing!

TASTE: Dark dried fruits (thank you Mr/Ms Port Pipe) and syrupy in the name of honey. This experience evolves to vanilla cream and dark chocolate as in the nose. the mid palate is juicy and velvety with a flowery texture. the phenols are softest as kind of in and out and aided by a salivating cracked pepper and oak note.

FINISH: The final is wee dry with a coat of honey and soft phenols.
