Lark Tokay Tokay Release has spent its entire life surrounded by ex-Australian Tokay, maturing in 100L Tokay casks before finishing in two 300L Tokay hogsheads from Seppeltsfield in the Barossa Valley. Big and biscuity with sweet notes of vanilla, this is an indulgent affogato of a whisky drowned in espresso with swirls of dark chocolate. A deliciously decadent after-dinner treat.
ASTING NOTESNOSE
: Creamy coffee jumps from the glass, vanilla custard and fruit mince pie dance together, layered with buttery fudge.
PALATE: Honeyed dates arrive followed by chocolate coffee beans, with cookies and cream on the side.
FINISH: Stewed fruit lingers combined with milky caramel, coupled with tea and tobacco.
